I really wanted to like this movie, as I was hoping that it’d be along the same lines of The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. But I had trouble engaging with it too. I might rewatch it to see if there’s anything I missed.
I agree with you, and I would definitely consider rewatching it. I already revisted the ending a second time to write the review, but I think the whole thing deserves a second chance.
